Megan O’Neal is a 2007 graduate from the University Of Arkansas School Of Law. Megan has legal experience in both a courtroom setting successfully prosecuting crimes at both the adult and juvenile level, and in a corporate environment drafting and negotiating complex transportation contracts. Megan worked for the Sebastian County Prosecuting Attorney for three years as a Deputy Prosecutor handling all juvenile cases including delinquents, FINS and school cases which included five regular dockets weekly. Through this employment, Megan developed a keen interest in juvenile law and the welfare of children currently in our judicial system. Megan currently serves on the Board for Lincoln Childcare Center and the Girl’s Shelter.
Megan started as a Contract Analyst for USA Truck, Inc. and eventually returned to occupy the position of Associate Corporate Counsel. During this employment, Megan analyzed and negotiated customer generated freight, brokerage and intermodal contracts, and drafted multiple contracts for the company’s use in various business situations. She also handled responsive pleadings and discovery on collections matters and garnishments. Megan also did extensive research regarding intermodal transportation and the associated contract process.
